How to make Changes in Hard Copy of HR Manual


  • Any amendment to this manual shall warrant a reprinting of the affected chapter and issuance to those who are holding hard copies. This shall be so due to the amendment of the version number of the document which shall be changed by personnel appointed by the process owner.
  • On receiving the approved Request for Amendment, Process owners shall ensure complete and accurate incorporation the changes in the electronic copy of the manual and takes necessary printouts
  • Modified pages to be reprinted if the amendment does not change the page number on which any subsequent sub headings can be found. In this case the affected pages may physically be removed from the existing copy of the manual and new pages are inserted to replace them
  • Where a modification shall change the page number on which a subsequent sub heading can be found then the affected chapter shall be physically removed from the existing hard copy of this manual and the updated chapter shall be printed and inserted in this manual.

Section 1.06 Amendment to Electronic Copy

The original electronic file containing the respective chapter that needs amendment shall be copied and saved with a new version number equivalent to the old version number plus one by the appointed personnel, thus ensuring that that the original file remains unchanged.
The amended electronic copy shall be forwarded by the appointed personnel after the authorization of process owners to IT Department for replacing the existing electronic copy on the intranet with the amended electronic copy. The IT Department shall inform the end users who have electronic copies of the manual to update themselves by obtaining the amended version from intranet.

Section 1.07 Review of Manual

Manual should be reviewed at once in every 2 years for any changes and COO has the responsibility.

Section 1.08 Conflict Resolution

 If there is any conflict between benefit given here in this Manual and Law prevailing in the Country, the Law of Islamic Republic of Pakistan would prevail.
