Human Resources Manual

Section 1 Introduction

 The policy manual provides information on the policies and procedures for various activities within Centre for Women Cooperative Development (HRMPK). The HRMPK values are an integral part of this document and play a very important role in the achievement of our objectives. They provide a guideline for our dealings with each other.

Caveat:

KKJ has assisted HRMPK in compilation of the manual. The manual has been approved by the Senior Management Committee and shall be placed before the Board of Directors for endorsement. Further modification of the manual according to the business needs and changing environment shall be the responsibility of the management of HRMPK.

Section 1.01 Who Should Read this Manual

 Every HRMPK employee shall have access to a copy of this manual; they will be sent revisions, updates, amendments and all new policies and procedures that are established from time to time within HRMPK. It will be their responsibility to ensure that they have read and understood all revisions, cancellations and updates contained within this manual. However, as this is a live document, its development and maintenance in the written form shall be the responsibility of the Top Management.

Section 1.02 Approving Authorities for this Manual

 All the processes mentioned would be followed for execution of this Manual. However top management is determined to review, approve or reject this document for the better interest of the organization.

Section 1.03 Amendment to the Manual

 All requests for amendments to the final version of the Human Resource Manual shall be documented. The request for amendment shall be raised by the respective process owners and shall contain the following:

  • Name and signature of the proposer
  • Type of amendment (addition/deletion/modification)
  • The reference of the manual
  • Description of amendment and reason for amendment
  • Effective date of amendment
  • Prepared by
  • Approved by

A repository of all amendments made shall be maintained in an Amendment Control Log by the respective process owner and shall form part of each chapter in this manual for the reference. The Amendment Control Log shall contain the following:

  • Amendment number
  • Date of amendment
  • Reference of the manual; and
  • Amended by
